About the project:
A platform for schools that makes teacher/parent communication easy. It consists of a presentational Website, a Web Portal ( Drupal ) and a Mobile App written in Ionic and Cordova. The App mimics the Web Portal, and the Portal allows schools to setup their account, manage class lists, teachers and students, and then the teachers and students' parents can start communicating using event notifications, comments and standard messaging.
Both the Website and the Portal use one platform ( Drupal ), so it is easy to maintain. Also the API is managed here, so all the data is easily manipulated and distributed from one location. The Mobile App authenticates and can fetch the data over a REST API.
